Export of PVC Foam Board and Acrylic Sheet

Case Study: Successful Export of PVC Foam Board and Acrylic Sheet to Tanzania

1. Project Background

In the first half of 2025, our company established a long-term partnership with a major distributor of advertising materials in Tanzania. This order marked the client’s first large-scale procurement of PVC foam boards and acrylic sheets, which are primarily used for downstream applications in advertising production, interior decoration, and signage.

With the growing demand in the Tanzanian market for lightweight, durable, and eco-friendly decorative materials, our company gained customer trust thanks to:

  • Reliable and consistent product quality;

  • A professional export service team;

  • Fast and responsive order processing;

  • Flexible customization capabilities.

This project laid a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation in the plastic sheet industry between China and Africa.

2. Product Overview

The shipment included two major product categories to meet the client's diverse application needs:

    • Applications: light boxes, signage, showcases, window displays, interior accents, etc.

3. Packaging & Logistics: End-to-End Professional Management

To ensure product integrity during the long-distance ocean shipment, we applied comprehensive packaging and loading procedures:

1. Surface Protection

  • Each sheet was covered with anti-scratch protective film;

  • Additional PE film or EPE wrapping was used for outer protection and compression resistance.

2. Reinforced Loading

  • Boards were stacked based on pre-planned configurations;

  • Secured with high-strength packing straps and edge protectors, combined with anti-slip strips to prevent shifting or deformation during transit.

3. Organized Container Packing

  • Sheets were grouped by type, color, and thickness;

  • Each group labeled clearly with packing lists for easy sorting upon arrival.

4. Container Sealing & Shipping

  • Quality and logistics teams performed double inspections before container sealing;

  • Industrial-grade security seals ensured safety and moisture resistance;

  • Shipping route: Departed from major Chinese ports (e.g., Shanghai, Ningbo), transported via the Indian Ocean to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
