Different Products, Different Packaging Solutions

How We Packed Acrylic Mirror Sheets and Acrylic Products for Export

When handling export orders, we do not use the same packaging method for all acrylic products.
Because different products have different risk points, the packaging structure must be completely different.

This shipment consists of two orders:
one batch of Acrylic Mirror Sheets shipped to Sri Lanka, and another batch of Acrylic Products shipped to Cote d’Ivoire.

Although both are acrylic-related products, the packaging logic is not the same.
Before arranging shipment, we first look at the product characteristics, and then decide the appropriate packaging structure, instead of applying a unified solution.

Acrylic Export Packaging Mirror Sheets & Products (1)

Sri Lanka Order -- Acrylic Mirror Sheet

This batch consists of acrylic mirror sheets.

Mirror sheets belong to products with high surface requirements.
After mirror treatment, the appearance is excellent, but at the same time, they are more prone to scratches, abrasions, pressure marks, and edge damage during transportation.

The characteristics of this type of product are very clear:

First, the surface is sensitive.
The mirror effect requires high surface integrity. Even slight friction, contact with hard objects, or small movements between sheets can easily damage the surface.

Second, the sheet size is large.
Mirror acrylic sheets are usually shipped in full size.
Large panels mean a large load-bearing area. If the bottom support is unstable or the pressure distribution is uneven, the sheets are easily affected during handling and stacking.

Third, the export transportation process is long.
From factory loading to warehousing, forklift handling, container loading, sea shipping, and unloading at the destination port, the goods go through multiple transfers.
If the packaging structure is not stable enough, the risk increases at each stage.

For this batch of mirror sheets, we adopted the packaging method of
pallet base + full coverage protection + wrapping fixation.

As shown in the images, the sheets are first placed on a wooden pallet.
The function of the pallet is not only to raise the goods, but also to ensure stable load-bearing during handling, facilitate forklift operation, and prevent moisture or hard objects from damaging the bottom.

On top of the sheets, we added a wooden protection board.
This structure is critical. Mirror sheets are most vulnerable to pressure from above and localized impact. The top board helps distribute external pressure and prevents direct force on the sheet surface.

The outside is then wrapped with stretch film.
This serves two purposes:

One is to fix the entire pallet as one unit and prevent movement during transportation;
The other is to provide basic dustproof and moisture-proof protection.

For mirror sheets, the key is not to make the packaging thicker, but to ensure
surface protection and overall structural stability.

Because once the surface is scratched, the product value is directly affected.
Therefore, when handling mirror sheet orders, we focus more on surface protection, flat support, and overall fixation.

Acrylic Export Packaging Mirror Sheets & Products (2)

Cote d’Ivoire Order -- Acrylic Products

The second batch is acrylic products shipped to Cote d’Ivoire.
This is not standard sheets, but processed acrylic products.

The packaging logic for processed products is different from mirror sheets.
Mirror sheets mainly require surface and pressure protection, while processed products need to consider structural protection, edge protection, impact resistance, and transportation shocks.

The characteristics of this type of product include:

First, the shape is already formed.
Processed acrylic products are not flat boards. Many products have bending, bonding, or three-dimensional structures.
This means uneven stress distribution, and certain points are more vulnerable.

Second, edges and joints are more fragile.
If impacted, edges may crack or chip.

Third, higher requirements for finished appearance.
Customers receive finished products that are ready for use or distribution.
Packaging must ensure the product arrives in good condition.

For this batch, we adopted a wooden crate packaging solution.
As shown in the image, the goods are packed using
full wooden crate + strapping reinforcement.

This packaging method has clear characteristics:

Stronger external impact resistance.
The wooden crate absorbs external collisions and pressure, preventing direct impact on the acrylic products.

Suitable for irregular finished products.
Unlike sheets, processed products cannot be stacked evenly.
The crate provides a stable and independent internal space.

Better protection for edges and structures.
For finished acrylic products, the priority is safe delivery rather than appearance display.

Higher overall stability for loading and transport.
After sealing and strapping, the package becomes more stable and easier to handle during container loading.

If this type of product were packed using sheet-style packaging, the risk would be high.
Because sheet packaging focuses on scratch and pressure protection,
while product packaging focuses on impact, shock, and deformation prevention.

Different Products Require Different Packaging Logic

From these two shipments, it is clear:

For Acrylic Mirror Sheets (Sri Lanka order), we focus on
surface protection, flat support, and pallet stability;

For Acrylic Products (Cote d’Ivoire order), we focus on
structural protection, edge safety, and impact resistance.

We do not simply package products in the same way.
We first identify the risk points, and then choose the packaging solution.

What This Shows About Our Packaging Experience

When handling acrylic export shipments, we do not only look at the product name.
We evaluate what type of transportation risk the product belongs to.

Is it sheet material or finished product?
Is it more sensitive to scratches or impact?
Should it use pallet packaging or wooden crate packaging?

These decisions determine the final packaging method and directly affect the condition of the goods upon arrival.

The difference between these two orders shows that we do not apply mechanical solutions.
We adjust packaging based on product characteristics.

For customers, this is not just about packaging,
but about product safety, delivery quality, and usability.

We always consider export packaging as an important part of order delivery.
Good products are the foundation,
but professional packaging ensures they arrive safely.
